Replay Poker - What's New!

I think it’s useful to keep all our players in the loop as to what small updates and fixes we’re rolling out day to day. So I’ve created this topic to do just that!

BUG FIXED - “Always auto muck hands” not working as expected in tournaments

Today we fixed a bug that occurred if you unticked “Always auto muck hands” in your settings page. When you went to play in a tournament, this option would still be ticked.

Now it works as expected and remains unticked.

thanks-very helpful

MINOR CHANGE - Max sit out time for ring game players

Ring games players will now get 6 minutes (up from 4 mins) sitting out time. After this time the seat will be freed up for other players.

We decided to change this based on player feedback. For instance, not everyone is able-bodied, and so 4 minutes for a bathroom break can be a race against the clock. We also looked at other sites and found the standard is 10 minutes, so this moves us more in line with the ‘perceived wisdom’ of the crowd

COOL NEW FEATURE - Quick Tour

We know most of you are already Replay Poker pros, but we wanted to make sure that new folks could get in and challenge you a little more easily. If you’re looking for a refresher course, you can find it down at the bottom of the page where it says Tour:

UPDATED FEATURE - Inactive Friends

The Friends Leaderboard on your Dashboard, now ONLY show those friends who are active on the site. We define active as having visited Replay Poker in the last 3 months. We thought it made more sense to compete with your active friends, rather than be stuck behind a friend who’s no longer around.

At the same time we used this opportunity to update the player profile page (eg. https://www.replaypoker.com/profile), to show how many ACTIVE friends you have, and any friends who are inactive, will automatically be darkened out (perhaps a good opportunity to send them a quick private message, asking why they haven’t been around in a while! :stuck_out_tongue: )

MINOR CHANGE - Monthly MTT Leaderboard - Medium

Starting this month (August 2015) the qualifying buy-in range for the Monthly MTT Leaderboard - Medium has been extended to tournaments with up to 49,999 chips buy-ins (previously it was 20,000 chips). This matches the current range for the Monthly S&G Leaderboard - Medium.

We changed it because it was inconsistent to have the Medium Leaderboards use different buy-in ranges, depending on if they were an SnG or MTT.

The new friends leaderboard looks great!!

We now show, not just how many players are remaining, but also the following information at the game table:

  • Tournament leader’s name
  • Your rank in the tournament (and how many player are remaining out of how many total entrants)
  • The current lowest and highest stacks in the tournament
  • How many finishing places are paid

Enjoy!

UPDATED FEATURE - Tournament Filters

We’ve added one new filter to the SnG and MTT tournament lobby pages.

The new Buy-in filter let’s you quickly find tournaments which are:

  • Freerollls
  • Low Buy-in (between 1 and 5,000 chips)
  • Medium Buy-in (between 5,001 and 49,999 chips)
  • High Buy-in (between 50,000 and

And if you currently compete in our various SnG and MTT Leaderboards (if not, why not?! Check them out in the Promotions section) then you’ll find the filters particularly useful, as it’ll find for you all the qualifying tournaments for the Low, Medium and High Leaderboards.

Love this feature!

On the FreeRoll games, quite often the “Prizes:” area shows 25 or 40, when in reality, the FreeRoll prizes are only paid to the top 12.

NEW FEATURE - Top Community Topics in the Dashboard

Starting today you can check out the Top Weekly Topics from the Community Forums, right on the Dashboard.

Here’s what it looks like, you can find it at the bottom right of the page…

We keep updated automatically throughout the day, and in case you’re wondering, the number on the left is the number of replies made to the topic, and the avatars of the players, are the ditopiccussion starter and at least one top poster from the topic.

You may also notice to make space for this new block, we’ve merged the Ring Game Hands and Ring Game Profit/Loss into one block with tabs to choose between.

Enjoy!

MINOR UPDATE - Blinds Schedule

We revised the later levels of the blinds schedule, you’ll see an example of the updated levels in the screenshot below. Basically it affects those tournaments that go on for more than about 2 hour of play, and means that the blinds and antes continue increasing. This will help avoid tournaments going on for too long, particularly when there are just two players left.

Shout out to player domolaz for bringing this to our attention.
