Hi and welcome to the forum @Funtast , Please come back often and check out daily new topics. If you are referring to the Bingo players, there is always a possibility you may find them at your table. I can only suggest learn how to beat them in the game, then it becomes your advantage. GL at the tables!!

I don’t play ring games so I don’t know at what limit the tables get more serious, but I have heard it can be frustrating. For tournaments, the higher stakes (20K and higher buy in) and Regional league tournaments start to get better but you still see some bingo players early in those and replay has alot of limpers in general. Have to realize this is free poker and free chips and players make alot of looser calls than in cash games. Private leagues tend to play alot more seriously.

Great Idea, my friend. Join a private league. However if you want to enjoy the rest of the site, try to learn how to win against the Bingo players

I wouldn’t focus too much on the stakes. It might not still be the case, but I found the play at the 5/10 tables was much better than a lot of the much higher stakes - people just looking to double up or punt off their entire bankroll skipped this stake for some reason.
In any case, I’d be fairly sure that there’s still a big difference between the lightning and regular tables. The lightning tables are more popular, but the time limit on those is so low that you can really only click buttons. You won’t get away from the limping, but you will find much better play in general on the regular speed tables.

Would I be correct in guessing that joining a private league is limited to premium players? I’ve been a member here for a few years, and haven’t figured that out. Thanks!

Hi @Tropix and welcome to the forum, to my knowledge at this time all private leagues are available to anyone, that meets the league’s requirements and by invitation. I would suggest reaching out to some of the league members or preferably the league organizer and ask to join. gl at the tables !!
