Player sitting out wins All In

I played an All In and was beaten by a player sitting out. How is this fair?
Also there seems to be a situation where entry into an All-In is automatic when one-to-one without the chance of folding. How and why does this occur?

Hi ,Were you playing the quick play games by chance?

@JustlyFishy

Lol!

This occurs when the sitting out player is the Big Blind and doesn’t have enough chips to cover the Blind. Their all-in is automatically posted. If you had a good starting hand, you should raise and hope you’re called by another player and you’re able to win the hand and some chips.
