  • Smaller default window size and design. This should allow for easier multi-tabling. You can click the bottom right corner and drag to resize the window and make it larger.
  • New sitting out seat state. Players will be greyed out and easier to determine who’s away.

MTTs with buy-ins of 3,000 through 7,500 have been converted to HTML5. We’re continuing to improve these tables based on your feedback, and we’re extremely appreciative of those of you continuing to raise issues.

Further release notes for 5/11/20:

  • Fixed pre-loading of cards where it would display a blank card
  • Four color deck fix

It might take a little bit until your browser cache updates for the four-color deck to behave normally again. You can also manually clear your cache to force that fix on your browser.

MTTs with buy-ins of 10,000 through 25,000 have been converted to HTML5. We anticipate the rest of the stakes to roll out tomorrow, with the exception of tournaments with rebuys, and the Replay Team Championship tables.

We have many plans to improve these tables, both to make the player experience smoother, and to finally add features that have been frequently requested for years. One of the reasons the Flash tables were stable is that Flash is incredibly difficult to edit. When developers make feature changes to a product, it can occasionally cause a hiccup elsewhere – such as the four-color deck issue we had over the weekend.

Because of this, the tables have been stagnant for a long time, and that’s something that has needed to change. Even if Flash wasn’t coming to an end this year, it’s important for Replay Poker to keep up with current technology, and be able to act on player suggestions. Common community suggestions can now be considered and added – hand for hand, viewing and muting spectators, and time banks being a few to look at.

We’re optimistic that the additional data we’ve been gathering will help players with performance issues they’ve been having. We are acting on your feedback, and have improvements in the works, as our COO, Shakeraise, has highlighted in this post.

Thanks so much for both your feedback and patience on this. Some of these improvements may take some time, but the team is hard at work to provide you with both a stable and adaptable way for you to play social poker.

Further release notes for 5/13/20:

  • More/clearer tournament information in the info tab
  • Refresh rate of tournament information should be quicker now (from 30 seconds to 15)

We haven’t had much to share here, but we have been pushing out more releases over the last few days. These mostly back-end changes that we’re hoping continue to solve some of the performance issues that players are having. These updates should also lead to late registration improvements and fixes to bounty calculations and chat messages.

We made a particularly significant change today that we’re hoping improves performance for many of our players. We’ll be watching our metrics to see if we notice any improvement in our data, but we would love to hear your feedback as well. Thanks for your continued patience as we make this a smoother experience!

The Feedback button on the tables has been removed. We believe that the integration with Usersnap may have been taking up resources, and hope that some players who have continued to have performance issues see improvements.

We still want your feedback and suggestions! Anything related to the HTML5 tables can be posted in this thread, while other site suggestions can be posted in our Suggestions & Feedback category. We’re also available at support@replaypoker.com.

We’re excited to start releasing new features on the site that our community has long requested. One may be coming very soon … :eyes:

Release notes for 6/24/20:

  • Chat is selectable to copy/paste
  • Tournament finish pop-up is harder to accidentally dismiss (clicking the background no longer clears it)
  • Time until next break has returned to the tournament info tab
  • Hand strength is not shown in chat when a player shows their cards.

For clarity, the last item fixes a bug where players’ current hand strength showed in dealer chat instead of their hole cards. The hand strength displayed only applied before the final cards were revealed, not the end result. This caused some confusion about which hand actually won in the chat box.

  • If a player doesn’t have enough chips to call, their pre-turn checkbox allows them to select “All-In”

We plan to roll out HTML5 to our rebuy tournaments in the coming days, beginning with our Bankroll Builders. We’ll monitor these games to make sure they’re running correctly before transitioning the final games.

These are the last tables that we need to convert. After completion, we’ll be hard at work continuing to improve performance, along with adding new features you’ve been asking about for quite some time.

We’ve made some updates to make our website more accessible on mobile devices. It should be much easier to navigate to our tables from your phone now.

We’ve made an update to our replayer. You can now view mucked hands at showdown if you were involved in the hand. This is more in line with behavior in live poker games.

We have more improvements to the replayer coming soon, so you can more easily skip ahead to what you’d like to see in the hand.
