can any alcoholic speak here ?
I tried a glass of Opus One 2015 last night. $995 for a bottle. I was polite, acknowledged it’s marvelous taste to the hosts ( thought to myself, hmmmm for a bunch of grapes) went to the bar, had a shot of Patron to kill the taste, back to the table and ordered my delicious gin and tonic. I can’t tell the difference between a $100 bottle of wine and a $1000 bottle of wine lol

I must say I have yet to try to discern the difference. But when the opportunity is offered, I shall gladly tell my hosts it was worth every one of their pennies!
