I needed a thrill in retirement, after all the wild rides in my career. I found all the thrills I need in poker, and at a price I can afford on the Replay Poker web site–plus friends.

I like it.

I love noticing patterns like how easy it is to spot Replay accounts that target real players and intentionally push pots even when they have less than nothing.

I play because, it is a excellent past time. Also, see players go all in with rags. Very funny. I also play a lot of cash games, this is really a good way to learn, good luck all

I have always loved games and have played other card games from a young age. As for poker the Moneymaker era of WSOP drew me in but living in eastern NC, there’s no casinos. Several years ago I found both World Tavern (free) Poker and Replay poker. Now its a borderline obsession.

its fun and meet people

I play poker because it bits you wits against another. Who will win??

I play poker because I like the intellectual challenge. Many factors come into play when I choose to bet, call or raise. I am very competitive but not combative, therefore poker is a “harmless” sport/skill.
I also like to win chips and money. My goal is to play in the World Series of Poker! I have already won two tournaments and come in the money is several tournaments in the greater Seattle area and Las Vegas.
Being a woman, it is a challenge to beat the men!!! Replay Poker and other sites help me “hone my skills”! Watch out, I’m “coming for your chips”!!!
Gmawoo :slight_smile:

I play poker for a lot of reasons first and foremost it’s FUN… A game that can be played different ways
with different styles, I like Percentages (odds), Strategy, sort of like the song know when to hold em , know when to fold em, Friendly conversation sometimes when I feel like chatting…
I grew up with a family that played poker so it always has been a form of social interaction. I am not into gambling (for real money) per say so replay poker is the only place on line I don’t need other peoples money and I like to keep mine LOL… So Have Fun win or lose just enjoy the game… (although I must admit its more fun to win) I guess that’ are some of the reasons i play poker.

I saw poker being played for high stakes back when it started getting popular on TV so being a game player of sorts, I started looking to learn how to play and I love it now…

I think I was 3 when my Irish Father taught me to play cards, according to Hoyle, nothing wild. As I got older wild was introduced. I can do either. I meet a lot of friends on this site.

I play for brain exercise. It is fun.

I like the challenge of reading the table, playing the odds and the rush of winning the big pot.

Quality poker plays are never an accident;
it is always the result of high intention,
sincere effort, intelligent direction and skilful execution;
it represents the wise choice of many alternatives…
If loving poker is wrong I don’ t wanne be right.

Because every day is a new day, every game is a new game, every hand is a new hand and hope springs eternal!
