Am I a bad loser or collusion is accepted on this site

I agree… I watched all the hands from the start of 4 handed play to 3 players left and all I saw was some aggressive play and some overfolding. Once the player on his right got a lot of chips it seemed to be typical big stack play. maybe he was having a bad card day but he seemed to me to be folding too many hands. People notice that kind of thing …

p.s.
you gonna have to tell me how you found the hand #s

The hard way - I looked up the tournament, found what time it was played, then just skimmed through hands played during that time until I found it (by manually changing the URL). It was actually quite easy once I realized that the time zones for the hands and the tournament were different.

Thanks
Interesting !

ok, how do you find hands played during a specific time period?

You just have to guess first, but you if you have two hand numbers far enough apart you can roughly figure out how many hand an hour/day/whatever are being played and get pretty close fairly quickly.

I could probably dig up the tournament and table numbers It was maybe 2 months ago ? But yes, the players were still playing, didn’t miss a beat. I was being recruited to play in the private leagues by a well known player who laid out the collusion or “Team” poker scenario, I said, Isn’t that collusion ? She said yes but its allowed just in these leagues. I’m telling you this so you don’t think I’m making it up. I was going to play, I just didn’t have time to commit to a team. I should have not used you as an example, sorry man. Really, its not that big of a deal, Its a free poker site so nobody is stealing from me and I basically mind my own business. This one incident was 2 girls colluding to knock me off the final table and the chat proved it so, that along with their total rudeness, then mme getting the warning kind of tricked me off. 2 hours later I was over it. These 2 players are also well know players, nd I believe they were tipsy LOL So, Life goes on

Brilliant. Thank you,… I never would have thought of that… overthinking it.

After reading your reply I looked and found this: https://www.replaypoker.com/blog/replay-leagues-what-is-team-play-poker-by-jengen7/

I have never heard of team play either, but it looks like it is legit…

As far as the two girls incident, I am sorry that happened to you and thank you for reporting it. I am sure there was some sanction if only just a warning. Is it possible that your chat in response to those girls might have been considered “rude”? Maybe you ALL got warned. I am just glad you are still here and still playing.

Replay Leagues: What is Team Play Poker? by JenGen7

Have you heard of private leagues at Replay Poker? In this article, player JenGen7 chats with a fellow league organizer, flashlight, to highlight one format that’s become particularly popular on the site — team poker.

Simply put, Team Play Poker, or TPP, as those of us league players call it, is a Replay Poker league that sponsors multiple playing formats for teams. TPP was started and is managed by Lyle, aka flashlight. I sat down with Lyle to learn more about what makes TPP tick.

I’ll be honest, being a lifelong poker player, I never heard of actual team play poker where it is acceptable and expected that you will pass and receive chips from your teammates while in the game. Until I came to Replay. But I have learned to enjoy team play very much. I had a bit of a learning curve but the more I play the more confident I become in my team playing skills.

What I learned from my chat with Lyle:

Why did you start the Team Play Poker League?

I used to play Team Poker in a League on another site, but the site was sold, and the Team League was abandoned. I missed the Team game so much I decided to start a new Team League elsewhere. After a trial at Poker Stars in 2017 we moved to Replay Poker, primarily because Replay has a much better “community”.

Why do you think players enjoy playing poker in teams?

It’s unique, it’s challenging and above all it’s fun. Team play creates a great sense of community and players become close friends. In all sporting codes, Team Play dominates.

How does an individual player learn to team play and join a league?

Players learn by watching and playing. It’s pretty easy to pick up the basics, then it’s simply a matter of “on the job” training (learning how your team and teammates play). Joining a League is easy, just go to the Replay main page, click on the little down arrow (Top Right), select Leagues, select the League you wish to join and follow the instructions. If you wish to join a Team Play League there are 4, Team Play Poker (the Original), Barnyard Muckers, Dream Weavers, and the Early Bird Leagues. All offer genuine team play but all differ slightly, so many play in all 4.

Thanks for sharing with us, Lyle.

For me learning to league play has helped sharpen and improve my poker skills while offering a fun and exciting twist to the game. Not to mention team and league playing have brought lifelong poker playing friends into my world. If you are a Replay member and you are interested in learning more about joining a league, follow Lyle’s instructions above. Hope to see you team playing in a Replay league soon!

Take it as a challenge!
Hit a hand and take them all out!

Replay poker is free and fun

Just think if it was real money $

Have fun and enjoy!!!

Thanks but just stopped playing - the fact it is a free site does not allow to do whatever
