Just a note on a Public TV Show coming up. Seems that PBS will have Ancient Skies episode 2 tonight dealing with Flat Earth to Early Telescopes.
If you want to make the flat-Earth stuff seem reasonable and sane, look up “mud fossils” on youtube. I haven’t experienced a literal jaw-drop in years, but that did it.
The videos on that subject helpfully point out obvious-but-as-yet-overlooked evidence revealing things like which mountain ranges are actually the fossilized remains of huge dragon-like creatures, among other giants.
I guess the fact that they are so big that their heads would be in the stratosphere (possibly even the mesosphere) if they stood up isn’t a problem, or maybe the atmosphere used to be taller, too. And Devil’s Tower is a petrified tree stump, apparently.

Flatearthers just don’t believe what the government says anymore. The US lied about the landing on the moon and everything else so why believe the earth is round?
Most flat-earthers though don’t actually believe the earth is flat, they just don’t 100% believe that it’s round.
