It is sad that a league organised in memory of a well loved player should have caused such friction in this forum, may I remind you all that the basic rules apply here in the same way as in the main forum:
Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree
You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But, remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:
- Name-calling.
- Attacking a person rather than addressing an opinion.
- Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content.
- Knee-jerk contradiction.
- Gratuitous negativity.
- Being sarcastic or condescending toward others’ ideas/comments.
I wish Jenny and her fellow organisers all the best in their future games and I hope that the spirit in which the league was formed will continue to flourish.
