When the craze of Chris Moneymaker, sattalite’n into, then winning a WSOP event, I started learning and watching PokerAfterDark and as many Televised on TV Tournaments as there were. ( way before I went to Vegas twice for a week ). In the beginning there reallly was only 2 good choices… Pokerstars and Full-Tilt Poker. I preferred Full-Tilt Poker. I started on the free chip side, and graduated to the $$$ side. I never put in 1 thin dime. I started with the 180/360 player Freerolls (SNGs). They paid 3 Spots. (180) 4 cents, 2 cents, 1 cent. (360) 5 cents, 3 cents, 2 cents. Kinda obsurd to play 2.5 hrs for 2 cents.

When the USA government outlaw’d , online poker for $$$, I had over 200$ in my Full-Tilt account, and it went poof.

I then bounced around to a few sites legal for US players, but that didn’t require a download. When the limitations of my browser left me nowhere to play, I downloaded FireFox, and searched sites that would work on my computer.

When the former site I played on would freeze my browser, I then searched sites and came to ReplayPoker in 2016. I have only played here ever since.

I found Replay Poker to be young and impertinent, with overtones of chocolate and earth and a finish that has a hint of raspberry. Maybe not a Grand Cru but certainly one hell of a bargain.

I’d given up on finding a free site with no download and had been playing Spades and Hearts at another site. Then, one day, I tried a “free poker” search again and up came Replay. It was a great surprise to find this place, with a good variety of games and promotions, a good crowd of people. I’ve developed friendships here and am grateful for the efforts of the staff.

For the free beer of course.
I,m a builder. One evening as we were packing away tools we noticed the landlord of the pub across the street trying to hang a banner on the front of the pub. He was standing on a barstool which was perched on top of a table with 2 attractive young barmaids holding the stool to stop it sliding off said table.
When we finally stopped laughing at the comedy of it all we grabbed a couple of ladders, hung the banner and changed some blown light-bulbs on the main signage. That banner was advertising a poker league game for later in the week and , as payment for our help, the landlord offered us free beer for the night if we wanted to play.
I couldn’t refuse the offer of free beer served by attractive barmaids so I google searched for free poker sites in order to have a quick tune-up of my game. I scraped into a pay-out which I donated to the local hospice . The no-download aspect of Replay and its general look caught my attention so here I am.

Used to play on the Zynga poker site but found it felt like a flashy video game.

I get more of a sense of real poker on Replay ( and the dealers here are way cuter  )

The short as I can tell you version (I should post the whole version in “how I learned poker-ing” Thread)

In 2004 I joined Poker Stars on the free play side, and over a year and a half I made almost $100.00 in free rolls to cash prize games. I would take $1 to $5 buy-ins on the Sunday games, and held an average of $75 to $125 for another year and a half, never spending money. Then in late 2006 some sneaky person attached a provision to the “SAFE Port Act” That Bush signed (this should be outlawed) and all my free money was taken hostage. So I shot the hostage… And quit playing online.

I then was transferred to Spokane WA. from So. Oregon to repair a restaurant.
I spent a year in Spokane where Texas Hold’em Pai-Gow and 21 are played inside the city limits at small card room casinos. I entered into one, and really fell for the card game Pai-Gow, but while waiting for enough players to make a dealer come out I sat at a Hold’em table for a $25 buy in, (I might publish the learning poker on other post, since I did know the basics) Not thinking I would be there long. I ended up agreeing to spit the money with an older gent after 3.5 hours of play. The older man & myself had been going back and forth as the last 2 players for about 30 mins.

After moving away from Spokane to where I am today, A gaggle of us girls and I decided to go to Laughlin NV. for Golf, Gaming, and Girls that go Wooo week, All during the 1st week of Pro Football’s Playoffs in Jan. 2015 (as tempting as it was to stay home with our menfolk at this time of year) We went anyway knowing, there was a possibility of missing out on some re-used annual comments, or not being there for a certain fragrance’s that the men can pull out either silently or jumbled with a lot of rector scale measurable noises, or maybe missing out on one of them trying to do some maintenance that ends up being something that should be looked at by a medical professional immediately, but anyone capable of driving keeps saying “right after this play we’ll go”

Anyway, While waiting for the rest of the clan to meet up with us in Laughlin, Fay and myself sat at a Texas Hold’em table and played a $50 buy-in, Fay didn’t do well, but I surprisingly did almost as well, but this time there was about 25-30 more players. I finished 3rd and won over $1000 in roughly 3hrs.

After we returned home. I decided to play online again, I went back to PS and resumed my game (minus the real money) and found that It was either too EZ or I needed more engagement. So I only played for a month or so, and then would play 2-3 days in a row every month or two. But not spending any serious time for any period of time. So I found several role playing games, and city building games (some that I still play today) but I was bored with the “No Thinking” online poker. So in April 2018 I surfed the net. WSOP, PS, FT, WPT, and a few more showed, But Replay Poker said “NO Download” And being scared of downloading it became my 1st choice after scrolling the list. I have tried a few others after signing up here, but due to not wanting to leave my IE-11 and avoid Edge, it’s seems easier to change browsers than poker sites…

Two of my relatives played on here and kept referring me to the site, then I finally signed up and beat them both.

I was playing a few well-known poker sites that also offered free play and eventually recognized that certain things happened too often to be explained statistically. In other words, they were manipulating the cards, and I reasoned that their intent was to make each pot as large as possible to increase the amount of the rake. I assumed that the program that drove the free game I was playing was the same used for the real money games (why would they create a new program for the game that makes them no money) so increasing rake size was entirely understandable for their profit margin. I decided then that I would never play online for real money and began a search for a site that offered free play only. When I found and tried RP I was skeptical at first. I played a bit and saw that those patterns I’d had to deal with on those previous sites were absent from RP and so I stayed, happily. Been here now for many years and still enjoy it.

I use to play on a 3D site PKR Poker until it shut down one day and i have to say i was heartbroken as i had played on there for a very long time. So now my friends and i had no idea where to go when one of them said to join Replay as they played on here too so we signed up and i have to admit it took me over a year to get over PKR and start to enjoy this site and now i love it !!! I have made many new friends and still have some old friends from PKR on here and think its a great site. I hope to play on here for many many more years !

A couple of summers ago I went to Maine to visit a few friends. We went to a picnic and a big poker game broke out. I watched and silently vowed to learn how to play. I went home looked up free poker. Found Replay – I was intimidated, but the people were really nice. So, I continue to lean. I figure in a few years – I might be ready to try it with real cards – probably not
