FAQ

Who is Casino.org?

Casino.org is the authority on helping players find the right games. They offer a community with millions of free game players around the world, and share thorough guides to getting the most out of your game. Their blog has plenty of poker-related tips and tricks as well! And they write extensive reviews (using this 25-step process!), even including a handy list of sites to avoid. You can learn more about them and all their offerings right here, including getting to know their staff.

When is this happening?

Very soon! We’re completing some final testing. As soon as this is finished, Replay will move over to its new location.

What changes will I notice?

These are the changes that you’ll see.

  • Due to regulatory reasons, Replay Poker will temporarily be unavailable to players in Italy, Vietnam, Colombia, Greece, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, and Poland. It’s our top priority to get this resolved, and we’ll reach out to all players from these countries once the site is accessible again.
  • Replay will become 18+, rather than 13+ with parental permission. You’ll notice a new checkbox agreeing to this on the redirect.
  • Our urls will be different, so you may need to update your bookmarks. Our new urls will begin with casino.org. As an example, instead of going to replaypoker.com/profile, you will instead visit casino.org/replaypoker/profile.
  • The Replay blog will be retired, but you can continue to get content via Casino.org’s blog at Casino Blog - Insights & Stories From the World of Gambling

Will I keep my account?

Yes! No changes will be made to your account. The only difference is the casino.org url, so you’ll access the login page at a new address.

Will the same team be running the site?

Yes – this is a true partnership! You’ll still see familiar faces here on the forum and in support. Those behind the scenes will continue work on our ongoing projects and improvements.

Is Replay still going to be a poker site?

Yes. We want to give you the best free poker experience online, and that continues to be our mission.

Why are you making this change?

Replay Poker and Casino.org each have unique elements that we can bring each other, offering an improved experience across both of our products.

  • By partnering with Casino.org, we plan to grow Replay significantly! Their site attracts millions of users who are looking for a good gaming experience, and we hope that Replay will be that place for those interested in free poker. Over time, we’ll get more exposure, and you’ll have strong competition at the tables!
  • Once we’ve had time to better integrate with their site, it will open up new resources for us to improve your site experience, including launching more features, additional games, and more!
  • Casino.org is an institution! They’ve been wildly successful since 1995. The team knows the market well, and their knowledge and expertise will complement ours. Together, we’re going to create an exciting future here at our tables.

What resources are available to Replay users who may have a gambling problem?

Casino.org has an extensive page on responsible gambling, which includes links for assistance and tools that can block gambling sites. Though Replay is specifically free, social poker, we are also able to block purchases for any players upon request to ensure they are able to feel comfortable playing entirely free.

Will Replay remain free to play?

Absolutely! You will continue to have access to plenty of free chips through your daily bonus, freerolls, contests, topups, etc. Nothing will be changing – it’s just a new url.

Was Replay bought?

No, this is a true partnership, and as mentioned above, the current Replay team will continue to develop the site now and in the future.

Will xyz remain intact / change / be removed?

All our current features will continue to be available! This includes private leagues and our current poker room offerings. @Chasetheriver will continue to make adjustments as he has done over the years based on feedback and popularity.

How will I log in?

You will log in the exact way you do now at the updated url. You will not use the login on Casino.org’s main page – we will share the login information, but it will be precisely what you are used to doing now, just at a new location.

Will Casino.org have access to my personal details, such as contact info, credit card info, name, or billing address?

No, CORG will not have access to your contact info, credit card info or name and billing addresses. When the migration goes live, we will be updating our privacy policy to reflect any changes and communicating this to all players.

Will my country/state really be able to still have access?

Yes. We’ve checked with our legal team, and the only permanently blocked countries are Russia (who required Replay to block them some time ago), Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria. The countries listed in our earlier question will have access again soon, and an email will go out to all affected players when this occurs.

That being said, regulations can always change – but unless they affect Replay Poker specifically, we’ll have a way for you to play at our tables.

Can you be more specific about what features will be added in the future?

Not yet – just as we typically don’t share this information until it’s closer to being ready. But it’s our goal to add things like tournament improvements and bomb pots (these are just examples, not confirmed yet!).

How will this venture improve our experience?

The goal of this partnership is to acquire additional users who value a free poker site that has more of a real-money feel. If we do, that means we’ll have more resources to work with – including the potential to expand our staff. We’ve been a VERY small team for a VERY long time, which means updates can be slow. We’d like to change that, so we have the ability to address player requests more quickly (like updating the tables, for instance).

What will happen with CardsChat?

They will continue to participate and run their private leagues and promotions here, as usual!

How will you verify that players are 18+?

Once our URL changes, there will be a checkbox all players must click to ensure they are 18+ and agree to all of our terms and policies.

Any questions? Please head over to our post in Suggestions & Feedback, as this thread will remain locked for updates from staff.
