The ones that make me cry are where the hero doubts himself, but the girl comes over and says ‘I believe in you’ so he goes out and does the thing, whatever it is.

Hachi. I’m sentimental when it comes to dogs besides the fact that I was in that movie with Richard Gere and an all star cast. It was filmed 6 miles from me in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Trivia: Hachi was portrayed by 3 Akita dogs, Chico, Leyla and Forrest.
