Brylcreem was my dads, Zebco reel was my purchase ( and they still make them but not under that brand and heckle and jeckle was one of my favorites.

Yep, I also remember the Indian Chief being in the middle of the screen, then The Lords Prayer being sung followed by the national anthem then the 10 second countdown before silence.

The exorcist in my opinion ought to have been billed as a comedy.

Ah, free range parenting. Bicycling with no helmets. BB gun and bottle rocket combat. No seatbelts in the car. Unsanitized books and TV. It was a rugged life.
