We ask for the author of a Daily Quote to be shown as this is a simple courtesy and people may wish to look up any other quotes they make. Thought of the Day is supposed to be a thought you have had and wish to share with the community, and should be original.
I hope that clears this up.

The Replay Poker Forum Guidelines give an indication as to what is acceptable, and this is a quote from them and we try to impliment these as fairly as possible:
Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

- Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content.

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
