Poker's Magic Ingredient

So true - things can turn around quickly in a tournament. One or two good shoves and suddenly you are back in the game. A chip and a chair  stay positive indeed!

My ring strategy is to sit with about 1/3-1/2 the max buy in and bank when I reach 4x my buy-in. Starting below the max allows me to make stress-free marginal decisions, and exploit players who get pot stuck with more chips than me because they’re priced in when I shove. Totally agree - bankroll management brings a sense of calm at the tables that I find really important to play my best.
