Is this forum useful?

I haven’t been active here long, but I’m noticing many topics have been repeated for months or even years.

Longtime Replay users: do they actually respond to feedback or am I wasting my time posting suggestions here?

This forum is monitored. I have seen staff members post in response to player posts. Specifically I have seen posts from a “player support specialist”, “poker operations manager”, and someone named Mr. Replay who I can only assume is the big kahuna himself, I have no idea how big the staff is, those three might be a just a few of many, or they might all be the same guy sitting alone in his basement. It’s the internet,… you never know…

das32343 go to the bottom of your lobby page and click on “About us” that will give you a list for most of the Staff except for new one’s that haven’t been added yet. Also click on the Moderator’s tab and you will find a list of Moderator’s and Player Reps.

The forum is very helpful , whether it be a mod responding or a player. Mods do read all posts on the forums page.

Hi, please don’t think you are wasting your time here at the forum. It is constantly monitored and many of our concerns, ideas and want’s are forwarded, I know from experience. But there are a whole lot more of us members that want things than, at the replay staff. gl at the tables

all of you could still be that one guy sitting alone in his basement… it’s still the internet… you never know… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thanks, but no one has directly answered my question. Is the staff responsive with ACTION? Why are there stacks of the same simple requests for site improvement, apparently recycling every year or two, with no changes made?

Has anyone personally seen a forum suggestion lead to site changes?

I know I can count on a mod to reply to my post - usually with a friendly, polite and substanceless comment :kissing_heart:

Seven Card Stud, Progressive Knockout tournaments (progressive Bounty), The Marathon format with a mix of omaha hi/lo and Holdem, The Duo league (RIP), Replay Team Challenge, Streak Tickets and adding 100K games by request. Thats a good list for starters. The staff can’t make every idea/recommendation happen but they do listen and try to make this site better.

I personally love this forum. I think all in all, most of our players leave us thoughtful, productive suggestions and feedback. I pass these on to the rest of the team. Other Operations, Support, and Product staff check in here regularly and add your ideas to a document that we pull from when we have development resource. We also have our fantastic volunteers who are involved here daily and raise any urgent matters with us.

We have two front-end developers, two back-end developers, and two in DevOps, so between keeping the site running, fixing issues, and adding and improving features, we can only work on so much at any given time. Bear with us, but we hear you, and we want you to feel heard, too. The most feedback we’ve gotten is about site performance, so we currently have all hands on deck to improve load times and prevent tournament freezes. I’ll have more information on that as soon as I can share it, along with other things we have in the pipeline.

Though we don’t reply to every suggestion, I do ask that you keep them coming, as we do note the frequency of how often something is requested. Sometimes things take longer to develop than expected, or priorities change, and it’s hard to guarantee if or when something will be added. But I’m hoping to work with all our teams to share those types of details with you all much more often.

I can say that while we aren’t currently working on it yet, a table redesign is on our list of high priorities, and things like showing an actual table, bet sizes, the call button/check box annoyances, etc. will all be considered due to the feedback all of you have shared.

But seriously, y’all here in the forum are genuinely special to me and the rest of the team. You are our most passionate players and we take what you have to say very seriously.

In the meantime, our staff will pop in when we can. My team (Ops/Support) makes adjustments when and where we can when no development is necessary. Rob (@Chasetheriver) is in here often and frequently updates our poker room based on your feedback. And I’ll have a new version of the forum league coming soon!

Maintaining an interactive platform is tedious, complex and costs time and money. I have been coding, programming etc starting in 1982. As questions and observations are received there is a protocol to follow in addressing the problem. The ones which most seriously affect the platform will probably be acted on first. Also, I am retired and am NOT volunteering to assist in program development.

AahHaaaa… playing hard to get I see… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I am sure the priority’s prevail in a platform and anything in life. Thank you for the reminder for us all

I think, this forum is useful for players.

I am playing here since a lot, but did not see any update of the software.
There are many players writing how the make the site better.
I guess the software cannot be updated anymore, whatever the reason is.

Let’s keep on playing as it is.
