respecting what is in hand, not what you may get. Keep folding

Remembering that it only takes a chip and a chair, patience and a little bit of luck.
Play often, develop good skills and don’t let anyone talk you out of your win!
you cant win every hand, so keep losses to a minimum. take risks and have fun.

Being patient for dealer to like you. Sometimes it takes days!
Patients and taking notes, and getting to know how you opponent plays.
And knowing when to fold.
being balanced in all situations, so your opponents are always guessing.

Fold all trash. My folding skills are second to none. I just need to work on all the others.

Patience is my go-to answer here, but there are so many other elements or qualities that are important. Observing and learning, playing position, understanding the rhythm of a tournament, bet sizing, playing the player, recognizing opportunities, just to name a few.
