Absolutely, if we post new members here to approve or to have opposition then why wouldnt we do the same as far as pending suspensions. I also think that if the member had good reason to validate why they came to be on the pending list, then they should have an explanation posted here such as ksu did.But if they dont respond in a PM to Badonk then they most likely wont post here on the forum, but at least the benefit of doubt is given and other members can have their say. So YES it is a good idea.

Yes, I think you are right ski. I know I will miss 3 if not 4 consecutive games In Nov. I’ll be deer hunting and have no internet connection.

New Member Alert : @turkeylips “turkeylips” Ranked 797, has sparked interest in joining our league; however he does not seem to be very tech savvy! lol I’ve broken it down for him. How about reinstating members that were suspended? i have someone that that i talked to on the tables and he couldnt / didnt play any games and was suspended here, after talking several times to him he has said he is eager to get back in and play and gave me a yes answer when i asked if he would show up to every Sundays game. Any feedback on what to do or tell him in this situation??

This is in reply to the post made by @floridajetski. It can be read three posts above.
As stated in my most recent post (see above), the league has adopted a new policy whereby
prior to any RP player being inducted to the league or any member being suspended from the league, there will be a notice posted here so that the entire membership has the opportunity to endorse or oppose the action. It would only be fair that members requesting to be reinstated be treated equally as any other RP players requesting to become new members.
Regarding the former member (who shall remain nameless) to whom you refer:
That member requested that they be replaced, because they did not have the time to play.
Furthermore, while requesting reinstatement, the member was unable to commit to play and instead suggested penalties for not participating which would be detrimental to the MTT.
@floridajetski, this is the exact reason why the league has enacted our new policy, so that this type of after-the-fact question and response will no longer be necessary.
6 PENDING MEMBERS
We currently have 6 nominees that are pending to possibly become new members.
They first 3 are @B_T (ranked 605), @35cent (ranked 295) and @burt57 (ranked 395).
After being posted here, these nominees will be inducted on Thursday (8/30/2018) unless there is significant opposition from the league. Any opposition should be discussed here at the Stables but the league will give limited consideration to any pm sent to Badonkidonk. Once inducted, they would be eligible to play in the 9/2/2018 MTT. The next 3 nominees are @chestersdad (ranked 175), @knighthawk37 (ranked 971) and rebelburn (ranked 924) who will be eligible to play in our 9/9/18MTT if inducted.
Okay so up until this point there were never any guidelines for reinstatement that were posted on here for us to know how to handle that situation when coming across a suspended member that approaches you about being able to be reinstated or join again and it was never even brought up by anyone til now, so i assume he has to get on the approval/wait list again and go thru the same process as a new recruit. I will inform the suspended member about the new guidelines on reinstatement and let u handle it from here. I just thought members might want to know what to say or do if they come across an ex member that asks to re join again so everyone is clear on this since nothing was ever explained on here. It makes sense now.

Yep, i agree they should go thru the same process as any other new member but there were never any guidelines set until now as far as the process of reinstating an ex member when that happened, so hopefully it is clear to all now.
