Thanks.
I’ve always been a fan of inpressionism’s willingness to strip away the non-essential and focus on form without getting bogged down in detail. I’ll probably end up with an impressionist-minimalist vibe.
Thanks.

Nice SPG
Is that water colors or a paint program ?
The style looks very familiar. I like it
Nice! Tough to pick a personal favorite (not that you asked us to) because I like them all, but for whatever reason, my eyes keep going to the top left.
Thank you Sue
It’s actually mixed media. the leaves are watercolor, the flowers are oils.
What I’m playing with now is using watercolors, which are softer and kinda blurry for the back elements, then using oils to do the focal points. I’m trying to get something similar to what’s called bokeh in photography… like the shallow depth of field you see in macro photography.
And thanks Geezer and Elvoid.
How true that is Raven
All gave some, some gave all
I was fortunate got stranded on a rock in the Pacific 69-71. Missed it all.
Maybe some loose screws there lol
Hahaha, I’d say that’s about right
I checked for an April Fools section, so I hope this is okay.
It’s right here Sue
Only heard 2 April fools gags yesterday. Another tradition that seems to be fading away.
Beautiful mid-day in South Texas. Out back burning a half dozen sticks of Nag Champa, and yes, I may start chanting. Nice cold brew, and one extra curricular maybe, and that rounds it out.
