I’ve Quit making New years resolutions
To have a happy, healthy, and memorable year. Am currently on Day 8 of no smoking after 40 years of use!

I have made no New years resolutions. That way I will not break any this year.
A common mistake in resolution-setting is having too many and spreading yourself too thin. We all want to learn 25 different languages, 15 new job skills and eliminate 5 bad habits, but we are not superheroes. We only have so much attention span we can dedicate to self-improvement, so having too many resolutions is a great way not to achieve the many goals you have set out for yourself.
There’s a reason why New Year’s resolutions are said to have a high failure rate, (80 percent), with most people falling off by the time February rolls around. You get dejected, give up, and then the cultural attitude moves on to the next holiday and the next profitable pipedream, so basically, my New Year´s relution is to stay positive, optimistic and strong to be able to comply with all my wishes for the NEW YEAR.

My husband and I promised each other we’d go back home to Wales this spring, to celebrate 60 years together. Problem is, we both hate to leave all our cat’s and horses.
We haven’t been away for a very very very long time.

That’s the best way to think because it is what it is
well the game is played with 5 cards not the 2 in your hand or the 3 on flop so river is included lol
