This one’s a little more challenging:

The combined age of father and son is 66 years.
The age of the father is the age of the son but with the digits reversed.
How old are they?

Missed the actual holiday, but it’s probably not too late for a little more Easter fun, right?

Poki, I can’t remember where I found this puzzle, so I don’t know what is considered the “right” answer, but it looks clear to me that you found TWO right answers! I wouldn’t think of arguing with either one. Well done–always giving it your all, Poki! Thank you.

There is no missing dollar. The given calculation is not correct. You cant add the $2 dollar to the $ 27, you have to reduce it.

Overview:
$ 30 in total
$ -3 refund to the guests
$ -2 tip for the waiter
$ -25 for the meal
$ 0 balance - everything fine. :wink:

I dare say Abbott and Costello have the right answer.
