WILDHORSES Poker League

Thank you, Norris, another fantastic tourney, here is where I smack talk ___ ___ ___ ____
you know the rest!
WILDHORSES!!!

I won nine hands in a row!

All the while, Michael just looked at me, revved his engines and smirked.

He then gunned it, and away he went, leaving Excaliburns in a swirl of dust.

This is concerning, LoL (cough cough)

Nine hands in a row mind you, Michael had plenty under the hood and then some!

When producers got together to create Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, they were wanting things to be more realistic than most animated movies. In order to do so, they needed a real life horse for inspiration.

After searching, they found a young Kiger Mustang that went by the name Donner, before being known as Spirit.

The lovely colt had been born to a stallion and mare that were caught by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) in Oregon.

His father was the foundation stallion, Steens Kiger, who was the first horse admitted to the Steens Mountain Kiger Registry studbook. Spirit himself is listed in the Steens Mountain Kiger Registry as ‘Donner of Steens Mountain’.

A record field for the WIldhorses PM came out to play some Omaha. 1 hour and 45 minutes of bluffs raises lucky rivers and alot of great poker in a great game. @southwestmba got the lucky river (including quad 8s) at the right time for the crown. @_Rain was a daredevilk watching his stack go up and down and putting the heat on everyone for 2nd and @Excaliburns was a master driving pots to the limit and drive the timid (pronounced me lol) out of countless pots. Great game tonight.

In the latest WILDHORSES poker league tournament, aptly named “Traveler” in homage to the mighty steed, the competition was fierce and thrilling from start to finish. Ten players took their seats, each with their sights set on victory and the prestige that comes with it. The tournament saw several standout performances, but it ultimately came down to a showdown between _snowman_, @Sue13 , and Dreamer2023.

The final moments were nothing short of electrifying. Dreamer2023 was edged out in third place after _snowman_ landed a fortuitous 7th street card, giving him a higher boat and sealing Dreamer2023’s fate. With Dreamer2023 eliminated, the heads-up battle was set between _snowman_ and Sue13. Unfortunately for Sue13, the cards seemed to turn against her in the crucial moments, and _snowman_ capitalized on the opportunity. With a decisive hand, _snowman_ clinched the victory, etching his name into the annals of the WILDHORSES league as the champion of “Traveler.” The tournament, marked by strategic prowess and a touch of luck, highlighted the unpredictable nature of poker and the thrill of emerging victorious against a field of skilled competitors.

It was another tough tournament. Cards did disappear in the end, but it is tough against these players no matter what cards you get. Congrats Snowman and Carl.

Shadowfax would be proud ! 14 wild horses descended on the track for a fun filled game of seven card stud Hilo. Watching chips stacks come and go Sue matched her performance this morning + 1 spot for the win. @Jobe fought hard and mediated his way to great hands and 2nd place and @Weedwoman420 fought light a banshee for third. 1:57 until popping the money bubble and nearly 2 hours to declare a winner in a 14 person tournament that says alot about how well the game was played congrats

The tournament saw a dramatic unfolding of strategies and fortunes, with @Excaliburns emerging as the standout competitor. Exhibiting exceptional patience, Excaliburns bided his time and waited until the final four players to assert his dominance. His calculated play and strategic moves ultimately propelled him to victory, marking a well-deserved triumph.

Meanwhile, _snowman_ experienced a rollercoaster of highs and lows throughout the tournament, navigating through to secure a strong 2nd place finish. Dreamer2023 leveraged a power game strategy to forge a path to 3rd place, showcasing tactical prowess and resilience. @Sue13 surprised many with some bold and unexpected plays, landing her in 4th place. @Weedwoman420 fought hard to claim 5th, while @southwestmba and @ROTTWEILER finished in 6th and 7th place, respectively, rounding out the competitive field. Seabiscuit (May 23, 1933 – May 17, 1947) was a champion thoroughbred racehorse in the United States who became the top money-winning racehorse up to the 1940s. He beat the 1937 Triple Crown winner, War Admiral, by four lengths in a two-horse special at Pimlico and was voted American Horse of the Year for 1938.

A small horse, at 15.2 hands high,[1] Seabiscuit had an inauspicious start to his racing career, winning only a quarter of his first 40 races, but became an unlikely champion and a symbol of hope to many Americans during the Great Depression.

On a Saturday morning, 14 wild horse toes the line at Pimlico downs for a shot at history. Deep stacks and cunning stratgy saw some surge forward and other reel them back in. In the End @_snowman dug deep and kicked hard to the line with a clutch flush to take the trophy down. @southwestmba 's gambit nearly worked but came home 2nd and @dreamer2023 fought down the stretch to take the show. Great game this morning

From the moment the tournament began, Kondrad established a commanding lead, effortlessly maintaining it throughout the event. Howdy Pilgrim  Tuesday night was a royally royale royal poker game. How often can you say I was at a table where there were not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but 6 (sorry Miami Heat fans lol) Royal Flushes. I can’t even remember the number of quads as well. But @southwestmba got on a run of very lucky cards to steal a win from @sue13 and her 4 royals and @_snowman and his royal and @ROTTWEILER had one as well. Great game and more reason to never give up.

Saturday morning 17 wild horses were chomping at the bit to get racing. Surviving bounties and mobile phone and having to give a ride @_Rain made all the right moves down the stretch and vanquished the last three competitions for the win. @Weedwoman420 charged down the stretch coming back each time she looked beat for the place and pace setter @southwestmba held on for the show.
