Shadowfax was a descendant of Felaróf, and a chieftain of the race of long-lived Mearas, the greatest horses of Middle-earth. Shadowfax was capable of comprehending human speech and was said to run faster than the wind. Originally belonging to Théoden, King of Rohan during the War of the Ring, Shadowfax was too wild to be tamed by the Rohirrim. Eventually, Théoden gave him to the wizard Gandalf the White.[1]

Tuesday night Royal and what a royal shootout it was. @Sue13 was down to her last bullet and roared back to win. @southwestmba rode into the sunset in 2nd, and @Littlepug hung them high and pulled down 3rd. Hour 35 minute to decide a winner in a short field means so great play. Well done all.

The battle for Silver was on today. 10 prospectors gathered with loaded gear to see who could take home the mother lode. In the end it was a fierce competition between @ROTTWEILER and @Excaliburns and @philanddit. Excalibur outdug philanddit and faced off against ROTTWEILER. It was a fierce competition but ROTTWEILLER prevailed in the end taking the top prize. Well played all.
