Congrats to all the winners in WH’s.
A special congrats to Snowman aka Norris for winning the morning edition of WH. He was a true pain in our butts every game. The man can play some poker. Awesome Player.
Our Battle of the Sexes games are set up for Tuesday, September 24th at 10 AM EST and 7 PM EST. Everyone is welcome to play. Please note these are freerolls and there is NO LATE REGISTRATION. The no late registration is to help me with the scoring so that I don’t have to modify the team scoring factor every time someone enters the game. So be sure to register early. It would also be very helpful for me to get you on the correct team if you would set your profile picture to the team avatar during the game. It will also let your teammates know which team you are on. The avatars for the Ladies and Gents teams are here.

This morning’s WILDHORSES Battle of the Sexes tournament was an exhilarating showdown, with 12 players ready to saddle up for a fierce competition. The roster featured 7 Gents and 5 Ladies, all vying for glory in a spirited battle. From the outset, it became clear that the women were in formidable form, displaying impressive teamwork and strategy that kept their male counterparts on the defensive.
As the tournament progressed, the ladies showcased their skills and determination, ultimately securing 4 of the final 5 spots in the game. The final score reflected their dominance, with the ladies finishing strong at 61.6 to the gents’ 34. Hats off to the standout players: Maniacal1, @SuzyQQ , @Sue13 , @RavenL , and @sugarfoot414 , who not only played brilliantly but also exemplified exceptional team spirit throughout the match. Congratulations to the victorious ladies for their impressive performance and well-deserved win! Also congratulations to @philanddit for being the last Gent standing and finishing second overall.
here are a couple new avatar images for use in this evening’s game. Hopefully they show up better and the other ones.
The WildHorses Battle of the Sexes poker tournament kicked off this evening with a dramatic showdown: 13 Gents versus 4 Ladies. At first glance, the odds seemed overwhelmingly in favor of the gentlemen, but unbeknownst to them, they were facing a hidden complication. One of their players, blissfully unaware of team play poker’s intricacies, turned into chaos as the rogue player unleashed an aggressive style that left their own teammates reeling. One by one, the Gents fell victim to their own comrade’s unrelenting tactics, creating an atmosphere of confusion and frustration at the table.
Meanwhile, the four ladies maintained their composure, playing strategically and deftly avoiding the fallout from their male counterparts. They even managed to navigate the treachery of another Gent who, in a surprising twist, had disguised themselves as a Lady, attempting to sow discord within the ranks. However, the relentless antics of the errant Gent provided just the opening they needed. With sharp minds and steady nerves, the Ladies capitalized on the turmoil and ultimately claimed victory—not just once, but for the second time this day. It was a thrilling reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected challenges can lead to the sweetest triumphs. Congratulations @Weedwoman420, @Sue13, @RavenL and Maniacal1.

This evening’s WILDHORSES Winner Takes All Tournament of Champions was a thrilling spectacle, drawing ten fierce competitors eager to claim the grand prize of one million chips. From the very start, it was a rollercoaster of unexpected turns, with underdog hands triumphing over higher-ranked contenders more often than anyone anticipated. The atmosphere was electric as players pushed their limits, showcasing not just skill, but the strategic nerve that only the most seasoned players possess.
As the dust settled, the final three emerged: @Sue13 , @tjmcfarland , and @Excaliburns . The tension in the air was palpable as the trio battled it out for supremacy. In a pivotal hand, Sue flopped two pair against Excaliburns, and in a calculated move, she min-bet 2,000 chips. Unbeknownst to her, the turn card brought Excaliburns a straight, a development that would change the game. Sue called his all-in bet, only to find herself relegated to third place as Excaliburns confidently revealed his winning hand. With Sue out of the running, Excaliburns quickly dispatched tjmcfarland, sealing his victory and claiming the coveted big kahuna prize. It was a night filled with surprises and unforgettable moments that will be talked about for seasons to come! Congratulations Joe, well done!
Congrats Joe and Well played Chris. I may have lost, but I took out the snowman and the gopher. That alone is a trophy win. Great game friends. See you in the morning.
This morning’s WILDHORSES Winner Takes All Tournament of Champions was nothing short of electrifying, as fifteen fierce competitors clashed in a battle of wills and skills for the coveted 1,000,000 chip prize. The atmosphere crackled with intensity, reminiscent of a heavyweight boxing match, where each player delivered and absorbed punishing blows. The stakes were high, and the tension palpable as the players fought tooth and nail, showcasing their skill and tenacity. It was a relentless showdown, with players getting knocked down only to rise again, ready to fight on.
As the players were eliminated one by one, the final three contenders emerged: @two4ac , @Floppasaurus , and @_Rain_ . With a commanding chip stack, two4ac dictated the pace, eliminating Floppasaurus and shifting focus to _Rain_. Just when it seemed like victory was within reach for two4ac, the one-hour break intervened. To everyone’s surprise, _Rain_ was missing in action after the break, only to return minutes later with a meager 3,000 or so chips. However, in a stunning display of resilience and strategic brilliance (and perhaps a bit of luck), _Rain_ executed a series of bold all-ins that turned the tides. As the final all-in hand unfolded, it was _Rain_ who ultimately tamed the wild horse, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. two4ac played his heart out but fell just short of taking the prize. The tournament was a masterclass in poker, and all participants proved themselves worthy of the Tournament of Champions title. Congratulations to _Rain_ on a hard-fought and well-deserved victory!
Congratulations! AGAIN the cream rises to the top!! Well Done

Pilgrim RPOS break edition. That rock looked bigger in the pictures
Ok some of us don’t care if a game is for points or not, getting to hang out with my friends and play a little royale (First two hands I thought it was hold’em lol.) For a small group it was a shootout. I counted 5 quad Aces as the stacks moved from one player to the next but in the end it was Quad Kings that helped @southwestmba surge to the lead and take the win. @Gunslinger13 knocked out most of the field starting the quarter with a strong 2nd and @Weedwoman420 burned bright in the clutch to take 3rd. Who needs points?
