Why I like replaypoker

I think County29 was giving it right back to you, Hadley. The give-away is in his line “I hope it won’t interfere with your losing to me.”

From what I’ve seen of probability here, I’m convinced that the odds of hitting the lottery are not that bad.
I bought a ticket…
Yes , I bought a ticket with the hope that Replay is in charge of the drawing.

been a member here about a month and have already taken more bb’s than i have taken in probably five yrs playing live games, rather discouraging statistic…

are these live games homegames or casino games?
most stakes (especcialy the lower ones) are easy to beat here and casino ones are in general way harder. however homegames are just as hard as the people you invite or where you got invited.

if this won’t help yet, you can also post hand replays in here for analysis by the people here, to see if it’s bad play or bad luck.

hope this helps.

It has been my experience that it is bad play. Usually, it is beyond bad play; yet they still beat me. Probability is like economics-- it is never wrong in the models and never right in real situations. Now a formula will tell you that I have a 32% chance of making an open ended straight by the river. My real experience will confirm that it does not apply to me . I must be the “exception” that one hears so much about.

3 men go into a hotel. The man behind the desk says a room is $30 so each man pays $10 and goes to the room.

A while later the man behind the desk realized the room was only $25 so he sent the bellboy to the 3 guys’ room with $5. On the way the bellboy couldn’t figure out how to split $5 evenly between 3 men, so he gave each man a $1 and kept the other $2 for himself.

This meant that the 3 men each paid $9 for the room, which is a total of $27 add the $2 that the bellboy kept = $29. Where is the other dollar?
