For me it is the whiff of competition in good company.
For me it’s the mixture of skill, luck, excitement, bluffs and fun.
The thrill of lying in wait, then pouncing!
The good competition and the great friends I’ve made!
My love of poker stems from putting on a mask , I get to pretend I know how to play the game.
Its Fun lol.

Learning how to improve my “play” while making good friends in the process.
Dont we all.
poker is so excite and fun but also a right thing for testing my nerves:)

With poker, there’s always a chance something great can happen.
i know it’s a cheap answer, but it’s all things together.
i don’t have one (or several) things that stand out. it’s all things together that makes it such a great game.
This is a question I have been asking myself for years, and I haven’t found yet a logical and completely satisfying answer, but isn’t love mostly irrational?
I never play poker for real money because it is not about winning $$ or chips. Although that is fun, I mostly enjoy the strategy and friends.
*It’s all good, the ups, the downs, the wins & losses but nothing like the camaraderie, esp with that darn squirrel Ralphie & his secretary thomas4126.
Poker is a good challenger for the mind. To keep the brain active to quick and good decisions.
It attempts to teach us discipline within our limits, for the most that’s easy, for the minority, it’s like trying to educate a turnip lol
It’s all about the good friend’s and meeting great people. Winning some chip’s is nice too.
