I think you would also need to show win % and the number of hands played to indicate a player’s skill level. This would be able to use stats currently being tracked.
So, the question for me would be, is a 15% win rate after 400k hands played less skillful than someone with a 15% win rate after 1 million hands played? Or, is it even informative?
What do you or anyone else think?
I remember Mr. Replay (yes, the one who started this site went by with a Mr. Replay handle) a few years back once posted, they were looking into how to show a player’s skill level. Obviously, it went nowhere but, they never asked me.
a players rank should be based on results not bc of how many chips u can buy. they have stats for everything else but not a single stat on a players results such as tourneys won or where u place. you want to be fair then be fair. anyone crying about my comments are probably just the chip buyers defending their advantage of tghe favors offered by this crooked site. and replays response is to mute someone bc they cant handle or maybe just dont want to handle the truth.
can’t really tell a persons skill level with play money! I vote to do away with rank or at least keeping it private. That way the cheating and all the rest of the complaining
I couldn’t agree more. Too many all-in pushers on the Ring Game tables, it just ruins it. You never know what comes up on the flop, so why bother doing it over and over again. Can have the best hand dealt and it comes up as dead as a door stop by the time the river comes. Let the flop come, then take action, otherwise it’s not playing poker, it’s just being dumb.
@RelicHunter
Nonsence. If purchasing chips give you an advantage and you get “taken care of” and helped to win, you would have no need to purchase chips ever again.
If you really believe it makes a difference why not spend $20, analyze the results and compare against your last 10000 hands. Then you would have proof rather than hearsay and lots more chips as a bonus
Why is it that when I hit 100,000 chips I am stuck in rooms that have only 100 chip anti instead of the 50 chip anti … + most all are high stake players that wanna bet 500 to 800 bets … I mean … I went from one extreme to the other. I miss the other tables that were less hard hitting.
This site has rankings by chip count and not best players (win percentage etc. ) because they want u to buy chips ( they get rich ) and u feel like a winner with lots of chips lol.
