Unacceptable tricks

If I drank a cup of coffee for every “donk” I meet, the index of coffee consumption in Germany would considerably increase. That would help the national economy, but I’d be taken into hospital for caffeine poisoning. Do you think that if I’ll alternate coffee with other drinks, the results will be the same?

Miri,
Just don’t confuse those players, with players that are hassled for the simple reason that … thier strategy isn’t the same as the rest of the table’s.

I think a very good red wine would do the trick. After all, if they are still there after a few glasses I doubt that you would care anymore.

iono,
I went to see what moved, and nothing was there from here I could see :zipper_mouth_face:

It was my comment. The 1 tequila 2 tequila 3 tequila floor. I posted it there first. But then I posted the same thing here in reply to Miri’s comment about drinks. For some reason it was moved from here to there again.

Here or there, nonsense or wisdom, I like the idea!

I had a hand in that also with the 5 tequila 6 tequila etc.

Sorry Miri for getting off track.

Now back to our regular scheduled programming lol.

I’ve seen these tactics before as well (not much at replay) but believe they do it to survive. If they play normal they won’t make it as far but if they double their stack a few times they might have a chance of making it in the money :moneybag:

To me it’s just inexperience and it does suck for the table, I too look :eyes: for a good hand to snipe (as week (great point above)) and if they get knocked out usually get a lot of “nh’s” comments.

This is also apparent where there is a table bully who keeps relentlessly raising every hand (I’m guilty lol) where the table gets frustrated (part of the game).

I agree with a lot of the posts here but before you know it they’ll be gone, either knocked out or moved to another table. I’m learning patience and if they want to play like idiots so be it, I’ll have the crosshairs ready

No need to apologise, Craig. Personally, I liked the drinks digression
And don’t we all know that phenomenon, at parties or whatever meeting? We start discussing a topic, there are several digressions, then the most sober of the group rebukes us all: "Now guys, stop being silly, back to topic!” Till next digression…
Sorry, mods, you have to be the sober ones in this Forum. LOL

Don’t confuse this play, from a player who is mimick’n PLO tactics, where the point is to build the pot so after the flop, you can possibly scare ppl away with that pot sized bet. Or the person who is increasing the blinds basically without increasing the buyin for the table.

Potbuilders are different than bullies. Many ppl’s strategy isn’t yours, before you witch in a chatbox… think about it 1st. Yes Miri, I know you aren’t really witch’n, more vent’n , as we all have been there and will be there…

I believe I know the difference
I’ve never played PLO (maybe someday I’ll give it a go :))

Poker has rules…if a player’s actions are within the rules of the game then I deal with the player’s conduct at the table in a manner so as to minimize my losses and maximize my winnings…calling play that is within the rules of the game “cheating” demonstrates a lack of understanding of the game

Well, I see it a lot also, it is usually a beginner. I have been knocked out by them and I have knocked them out also. Just have to be lucky that they go all in with 27 or such. It makes it “POKER” again when they are knocked out or moved to another table.

If playing at a casino and have to go, just pick up your chips and cash out…unless it is a tournament…then I do not know what happens.

I was told by the dealer that the dealer handles my remaining chips and blinds out my stack–just takes BB and SB as my (vacant chair) turn rolls around until all chips are gone.
