What is the name of the card (in a standard deck) known as the “Suicide King”?
There are two cards in the deck, one of these two you must have to make a straight in poker. Name both of these cards.
What are the names of both “One Eyed Jacks”?
Hah, I only know this one thanks to that crappy Denis Leary movie!

Why is a full house sometimes called a “full boat?”
In the 1800s, Mississippi riverboat gamblers often lived on the boat, so the boat was their house. They started saying “full boat” to reflect this.
Slightly true but no more than that. The opposite is much closer to the truth. Boat captains were chosen for their good character (puritanical) and social connections.Gamblers were considered sinners and were denied boarding using the excuse “full boat” sending them back on land to play in the local saloons and gambling houses already full of gamblers and thus giving rise to “full house”.
Many saloons and riverboats ran gambling operations, and made a nice profit from them. One doesn’t set up a gambling parlor and then tell the gamblers there’s no room.
Anyway, we will just have to agree to disagree.
