like current table better.
Testers have been requesting larger cards so I feel that will be addressed.
One really cool feature I like is the chat filter…I usually pick “players only” to eliminate all broadcast and the dealer. If I miss what just won, I can quickly switch to all again.
I hope you guys will apply to be testers so you can give your opinions of appearance/graphics and help us hunt down the remaining bugs.
I’m really looking forward to the final product!
people can just look at screehshot above to give their opinions. I’m sure someone from replay poker see these post in this thread or you can pass on comments from here… and yes I did sign up be a tester, but that doesn’t mean anything. so for now I will address my opinions here.
I must say that I like that the players Pic appears at the table! Whatever tweaks are made I hope this feature stays.
I like the look of the new tables. I like using the avatars next to the players. The overall look is clean and modern. I like the black background for the bottom part of the screen. Yes, there is a lot of green, but I don’t mind it at all. The cards could be bigger, but I am guessing they will make them bigger since people have brought it to their attention. Overall, it looks like a big step forward to me.
They shouldn’t have made Kermit the Frog lead designer. Maybe have little lily-pads for seats to complete the effect of playing in a swamp?
I’m guessing Omaha will be blue and Royal red.
Royal should be a nice paisley or maybe a Royal Stewart tartan.
I Cant make it to be a beta tester due to time zones but I do get to watch a few games either live of through testers hand history. Gotta say mostly I like what I see. The one grump I have is … Where is the table?. The new layout is clean and modern but it really reminds me of the carpet in the local kindergarten I built last year. It really, really does. A circle on the carpet where the children came and sat around and had ‘sharing time’ by playing with a toy they chose for 1 minute and then having to pass it on the the ‘wonderful new friend’ teacher pointed at.
Good thing that I don’t use this as my icon…
I find that the tables look much better on my Ipad as opposed to my laptop. The bigger screen on the laptop elongates the table more and makes the table look more like a long bench.
Everything worked well on the ipad
Yes when I stretch to make as large as possible the table is like 20 feet long…hopefully that’ll be fixed soon
While the current tables open with a default hight/width, ( on this tablet 10.1" thats about 60% width and 85% hight… On my PC the tables also opened with a fixed size that was much smaller than my normal browser window. ) the new tables seem to open with a “fill screen” not default size. They are stretched way too long and even the plaque for players names ends up covering even the middle cards barely.
It shouldnt matter what platform pc/mobile and what screensize 5" to 45" a player is using, the aspect ratio of the table needs to be Fixed so that the appearance of the table and the functionality is not lost when a player opens the table.
The table look is fine for me but I play on a 30 inch screen I don’t like getting disconnected all the time it gets old. I hope they get the bugs worked out soon.
Cool to hear about the option two eliminate the dealer messages and tournament notifications. I’d been hoping for that since I started playing here. Being able to see the pictures of the players without extra clicks sounds nice, too.
Everything sounds good and the new updates we got today will make it even better.
What I would really like to do is observe some games but can’t seem to find any…HELP!
Thanks everyone and gl at the tables…new and old lol
I meant test tables Grandy lol…sorry
I was thinking anyone can view the tables but only beta testers could play but maybe I’m mistaken.
Another option would be to find me or an online moderator between 1-3pm ET or 7-9pm ET and click on playing now in their profile…that should definitely work.
All that said, if you are a registered beta tester, you should be able to see the tables at all times.
