Thanks for the question goose1. So in fact the full name might be something like ‘SnG 6-Max 2’.
The ‘6-Max’ part refers to the common terms for a 6 seat table, see the definition here:

The final number, in our case: ‘2’ is simply used to difference other tournaments running at the same time with the same name, it has no extra meaning.
