I am so, so sorry for the long disruption to tournaments last night. Our tech team fixed the issue, and has discovered what caused this to occur to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
Typically, when a major issue like this happens, our system is able to catch it and automatically page a member of tech who is on call. That didn’t happen this time, and that led to prolonged issues that none of you should have had to deal with. We’re looking into why so we can get that fixed as well.
We’re currently working on responding to all the messages we received in support. Refunds have been issued and affected tournaments have been removed from our leaderboards.
Thank you to @grapevine and @Tiandra for assisting so many folks both on the site and on the forum, and @lildevil109, @will_lira, @Jonahh, and the other volunteers for all the assistance you provided with the many PMs you received. Very sorry that you had to deal with radio silence for so long.
Again, my apologies to all of you for this experience – it was unacceptable. Ensuring our games run smoothly for you all is our top priority, and we’re committed to working to prevent situations like these in the future.
