Replay Poker

Joe,
Sry to hear you can’t play more in the leagues. I must strongly dissagree that the 15k level is unplayable for the reasons you listed. Not only in the red MTTs are at least 1/2 the players “regulars” and going for the leaderboards, but those players generally play tighter and more realistic like a live game. Sure, after 1/2 way thru they loosen up a bit as you kinda should, but these players are playing a hybrid long-short game. ( I am not talking about any of the non-red MTTs , at the 15k level )

I like it lol

I have been playing on Replay for over 3 years now,and have met some really nice people from all parts of the
world, So whats the problem???
Lets start with the bonus chips, given everyday for regular players,I agree that this is a good idea, No problem there, however read the top line on the bonus chips provided by professional players. one of them states,
The only Royal Flush you will find in a casino is in the washroom, Replay have a list of Royal flush winners and it grows by the day
Now lets move on to the flop, 9 out of every 10 flops are set up for at least a straight or a flush, don’t take my word for it ,watch the hands,
The fact the Replay is free creates another problem, Some players get their free chips and bang,All in ,All in,All in until they lose their chips, This is usually followed by another All in merchant, So what does a tight player,a good player do,Fold or risk their chips and fall to a Replay special, The All in merchant has one card and one only to survive on the River A 2% chance. need I say more, his card arrives, sometimes they need Two cards on the Turn, and Eureka, they win a massive pot, I can see you nodding now saying it happens ALL the time, WHY ??? ,and then of course they think they can play, so spoil everyones game for the next …minutes

I could go on , but you see the problems and they are not addressed.

Free - no problem there.
All-in - thats what no limit is.

A post was merged into an existing topic: The fairness debate

Mostly it is the beginners who go all in before the flop. I was just in a tourney when 1 went all in before the flop . I had Ace 10 but it was the first hand so maybe he had KK or something. Someone else called and knocked him out. I would have had 2 pair but did not play it. By the way… the beginner had 27.

free poker will always be just that…free poker…if you expect anything less than idiot play, you are fooling yourself.
It is for entertainment only. If you like poker in its’ true nature, you have to go play cash games at the casino or in home games. Any other game which requires skill will not be skewed…poker is the only game in which the worst player can beat the best player at any given time, with any given call, good or bad…period.

I mostly like the depression it gives me when I go for weeks and weeks loosing in the most unlikely of ways
But without us losers out there we couldn’t have all these players with hundreds of millions of chips
could we.

so your saying you like the cool people you meet .

I take that as you like the game

I like your attitude !!
