Replay Poker Tournament Rules

Tournament Rules

  1. Seating is random.

  2. Seat 1 has the button when the tournaments starts.

  3. The tournament ends when there is one player left with all the chips. If the tournament is a satellite there might be more than 1 winner, if so, the tournament ends when those are left.

  4. If players get eliminated in the same hand, the player with most chips at the time, will be placed higher. If the players have the same amount of chips, they will share the place and winnings.

  5. ReplayPoker uses the “forward moving button” rule, this rule enables that players recieve the button two times in a row. After each hand the button is moved clockwise to the small blind.

  6. When two players are left the button will post the small blind, and act first.

  7. Disconnects.

7.1 ReplayPoker does not accept any responsibility if a player disconnects, other than at a server crash. By entering into a tournament at ReplayPoker, the player takes responsibility for his/her internet connection/computer.

7.2 At time-outs, during an ongoing tournament, players will go into sit-out mode and fold/check. that player will still post antes and/or blinds.

  1. Unethical play, such as soft-play and chip dumping, will result in frozen funds or other penalties including immediate cancellation of your account.

  2. When a tournament gets into the more critical stages and there is more than one table remaining, the tournament might get into hand-for-hand mode. The hand-for-hand mode synchronizes the remaining tables, so that a new hand wont start until the hand is finished on all tables. If players get knocked out in a synchronized hand, rule 4 will apply.

  3. Table balancing may occur during tournament play. Table balancing is random, and might result in players posting the big blind two times in a row. When 10 players remain in a tournament, these players are brought together at the final table.

  4. Prizes will be awarded according to the details in the tournament lobby or otherwhere stated.

  5. If a server crash occurs each player’s chip count will be reset to the amount at the beginning of the hand.

  6. Players and spectators are expected to use the chat feature in a polite manner.

  7. Players that are still in the tournament may not discuss their hands until that hand is over. Discussing cards discarded or hand possibilities is not permitted.

  8. ReplayPokers management decision will be final in all cases without exception.

  9. Each player may only have one ReplayPoker account.

  10. In the event that ReplayPoker deems that a player has engaged or attempted to engage in cheating or unfair play, or that player will be subject to penalties. These may include warnings, restrictions on play, seizure of funds, muting players in chat, suspension and the closing of accounts.

Item 7.2 should be amended such that:

The away player can only win a hand if everyone else folds to his hand, otherwise the away player must fold if he is not there to turn over his cards.

RP should not be allowed to show for a missing player this is not fair to remaining players.

Point 10: * Depends on the table size of that tournament

For the rest, nice job Dog.
