I’ve just got two 'prizes, of 30k chips each out of the blue…any ideas why anyone?

You probably received them from placing high enough on a Weekly or Monthly leaderboard … you can go to your bank then press “see all” and you will see details of all your transactions

I noticed same thing years back and started to play both games in the Regional league I was playing… Bonus chips are a bonus. There are many leaderboards that cover the gambit of games.
