Juneboy did you reply to the right thread? There’s a discussion about late registration going on elsewhere in the forum right now, and I wonder if you meant to respond there.

Late Registration: What are the pros and cons?

Late registration often comes up as a point of feedback on the forum. Some think we shouldn’t have it, while others think it’s a benefit. I’ve just posted an article over on our blog by @Chasetheriver who highlights a few pros and cons, but wanted to bring the discussion over here. What do you think? Are there advantages or disadvantages to registering late in MTTs?

In case you didn’t: Disclosure league games have late registration, and it is set to 5 min. We typically go from 2-3 players to 5-6, thanks to late registration, and I’m grateful to have it.
