Might i suggest, the winner of a tournament should get to keep his chips won as well as the prize!
You buy-in for a certain amount of chips, the prizes are based on all paid buy-ins, the tournament chips are only for playing the tournament, you can not win them at the end. Sometimes you start with 1000 chips, other times you can start with 50.000 chips.
Tourney chips aren’t to be confused with play chips. If we let you keep your tourney chips, ie. converting them to play chips, we’d be giving away a LOT of free play chips!
And we already have some players who have accumulated more than a billion chips. We’d be fast on our way to a trillionaire!
