You have to ask hes nick name, then put the nick in “search” in the top midle of the page

On the bottom of the page in the black line you see “Players Online xxx” , when you click on it you go to the page showing all players who are online.

Also you can add your friend as friend, than it shows in your friends list. When you click on your own friends list, it shows all friends and who is online and who is playing and where your friend is playing.
