I use the name grapevine as I teach line dancing, and “grapevine” is one of the basic steps I teach my pupils, who vary in ages from 16 to 93 and are even harder to control than the forum!
I created a similar topic five years ago, but have not merged this as I thought a new poster might generate new interest!

I will be honest; my name is David… I started using Bill8828 many years ago as an old aww friend named Billy kind of stabled me in the back (not literally lol) so when some guy (drunk) was mad that i won his money playing in a casino and they were kicking him out, he asked " what is your name so i can find you" i just game him Billy’s name lol and been using it on money sites etc. for many years now lol.

Mine is from my dog Chipper, who we also called Chip for short. Miss him dearly. 
I got my name from Point Break the movie when I was young.I always talked about that movie and my friends started calling me Bodie and because of that movie I got into surfing and LOVED it! Patrick Swayze played Bodie in the movie and was awesome. Bodie is my nickname that has stuck with me. My real name is Axl Rose…
