How right you are. I never knew my father, but my Uncle, when he heard that my mom was killed, left the concert he was playing, mid show, and flew back to the U.K. to get me.
I will never forget him rushing in, gathering me in his arms, and saying, I’ve got you Cass, and I am here to take you home. I will always take care of you. I was 7, he was 22. He has been there my entire life. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized just how much he sacrificed for me. I can’t wait for him to come visit this summer. He will always be my hero.

My dad taught me lots of stuff but by far the most important thing he ever taught me was " when you look in a mirror make sure you can be proud of the man looking back at you"
