I did like having both teammates being able to play at the same time (Like the RTC), which allowed me to see how my teammate was doing and cheer them on. This first tournament was fortunate that all four games had the same number of players, but I think fewer games or just larger fields would play better. But I enjoyed it
On the Dashboard , click on ‘Promotions’
Click on ‘Community Events’ a menu rolls out,
Scroll down to ‘Dynamic Duo Forum League’ click on that and you will see the Leaderboard
Was a fun game and although me and my teammate played at the same time this month , I like the fact that we have 2 times to pick from so that I don’t have to commit to that time slot all the time. Being on a Sat I like to have the option to pick which time is better for me.
First, I would like to say I had a blast playing in the inaugural match! @SharonSmarty gave me quite a battle at the end heads up, Props to her!
I have some questions for staff:
There were no team names, I’m not sure how this leaderboard continues if you have an option to change your teammate while using individual player names.
Who would get the points if both players decided to continue with new partners, would you take your individual points with you to your next match with your new player/partner having zero points?
If you paired up with an existing player would your points, be added together?
Is there going to be a new leaderboard every month? If there is, all my above questions seem unnecessary.
With so many teams with the same score on the LB how would a winner be determined?
Without a team name it would seem the possibility of having somebody new play with you is complicated.
Hi all, and thanks for participating! It was a bit of a test run, and I appreciate you all rolling with the punches – and earning some chips along the way.
@DaniPok - due to when staff is online, we aren’t able to make changes once teams are set the day prior, but I’ll make sure that’s communicated more clearly. I hope you can make it next month!
@_snowman and @southwestmba - thanks for your feedback! Having 28 total (completed) player sign-ups and four tournament slots did mean that there weren’t many players in each one. But I also hear @SharonSmarty when she says that having multiple time slots is handy. We can’t have two people on the same team in the same tournament out of fairness, so it’s something to think about. I’ll be posting a poll about it this week and I’m eager to see whether people prefer flexibility or a larger player pool.
@_Rain - Each tournament is a one-off, because we want to make it as convenient to our forum players as possible. So, there isn’t an ongoing leaderboard. This allows you to switch partners month to month if you’re interested in playing with different friends. Ties mean multiple winners for the month. If we have a larger player pool, ties will be less likely. Let me know your thoughts in the poll once I get that up later.
