This is the scoop on what I have been able to get for this upcoming season of Dynamic Duos, from Reply who fully supports our current efforts and goal of getting eight Teams this time around, to hopefully start on October 13th or, failing that, the 20th.
If we are able to get eight Teams then Replay will generously donate 40K to the prize pool of every game that will be played in the seven week regular season. This adds up to 1.12M, which is a decent amount, where I come from.
I have an idea on how to improve the Playoff structure, doable exclusively because of having eight Teams, with respect to how places from 3rd to 8th are decided. I will also be bugging Replay for some unique donating based on the new Playoff structure. That is all I can say on this presently, I don’t want to get too far over my skis, so to speak.
If we are not able to get eight Teams, then there will be no donated chips from Replay and we will proceed with what we have. But… Replay will donate to the first season next year, regardless of how many Teams we manage to wrangle up. This is because it will be the one year anniversary of Dynamic Duos beginning in it’s present form.

Something happened last Saturday that slipped under radar as it did not receive any fanfare really. This was mostly due to the modest nature of the ‘good old sod’ who will now be spotlighted. This person, second only to Jenny, is responsible for what all of us can, now and still, enjoy when we play in Mr. Monk’s Challenge, Dynamic Duos and Lightning Pairs. I am speaking of, very highly, my good friend Dan aka FranklyI. Dan has won the inaugural month of Just Jenny’s Jousting, I bugged him to pick out a Trophy that he wanted, which would be awarded every month to the individual who wins Just Jenny’s Jousting, but he waffled until the point where I lost my patience. Congratulations Dan on the win, and thank you for your service to this point in time. Your involvement is key to how FPL and all it’s components will grow into the future. Cheers mate…

This is the line up for the next Season of the Duos which will start on 13th October which will give you all time to wash and iron your shirts (for those who iron these days). I could add more but it would be classed as 'To Much Information". So please check your team line-up is correct.

Tonight Just Jenny’s Jousting will run with 1.25M added to the prize pool, the following three games in this month will each have 250K added to their prize pools. These add on amounts are courtesy of Replay through Rob, who like us, want to honour Jenny Gentry, the MTT now in her name, and who she was to all of us.
A couple of months ago or so, I was motivated by something that I read, and it resulted in my producing what follows. Honestly, I know I said a few words about how this written work came to be, but I have no clue as to what or when. Anyway… here it is again, for Jenny.
I have an announcement… today Johan [Konrad] has formally become Captain of the Mystics.
He is not replacing Jenny, something that can not be done, but is simply filling the position that she had to, sadly, vacate. Initially Johan stated that he would fill the position only until a replacement was found. Now, reading between the lines, he has grown into the role and likes it and the Players that are the Mystics. He did say though, that it would nice to have a few more Players, and this is true for two other Teams as well. This is a concern that will dissected and then tackled very soon and it will require a little bit of work from the Captains, so that we can see and will then know the magnitude of our pending challenge.
