this thread is about song with amazing saxophone throughout the song. even though I played trumpet in high school, there something about the sound of saxophone just love to hear. I’ll start with song Baker street by Garry Rafferty.
Great fusion of jazz and rock. Alto sax simply has to be the most voluptuous of all the musical instruments.
Here’s another great example, Harlem Nocturne. As you listen, can’t you just see and feel the gritty Private Detective watching from across the street? See the rain dripping off his hat and trench coat? Smell the drifting smoke from his unfiltered Camel? Oh, yeah.
Tequila is the perfect song for karaoke, if you can’t sing–it only has one word and it’s shouted, not sung.

Here’s an alto sax jazz favorite from the late 60s. Several versions have sung lyrics; sax is cooler.
