Dream Weaver

I think that Michael may be a tad bit generous in stating that we are all Dream Weavers. In my own specific case… let it be known that, exclusively I am, and will always be, a Weaving Dreamer. Just sayin… :sunglasses:

Today I received notice that @cm681 has left the Pirates and joined the Con Artists.

RJ will be missed; he is an excellent player and will do well on Sharons team.

I will not discuss the hand in question that may or may not have tipped the scales for RJ here in the DW forum.

I have created another thread where hands can be posted and discussed openly.

I think it will serve the community of players in a few ways.

1- Keeping hand discussion out of the Dream Weaver tread.
2- Educating players on what should happen in a particular situation.
3- Discussing the variables as blinds progress.
4- Deciding when to call and when not to call a teammate.
5- What constitutes all in and what does it mean to your team.
6- What is a push pass and when should it be used.
7- Timing along with the variables in strategic team play.
8- Allow our seasoned/experienced players to help guide new players

Along with any other questions about a team play hand anyone would like to discuss.

Here is a link to the new thread

I posted a couple hands that will start the discussion, please feel free to comment on them, we would like to know what you think.

I had a few requests to ask for prayers for some of our own poker friends whom we haven’t heard from since Helene hit. I pray they are fine and maybe not able to contact us. God Bless…

Is there any tonic, med, vodoo or rabbit foot that I can take to ward off getting beat by the river, if so please tell me.I understand its part of the game and it happens to all players but lately I’m getting way more than my share. Just saying.

I can bear witness @Heather1 the last two nights were brutal knockouts. But it evens out eventually.

@Heather1 In one of the RPOS tournaments I had aces and went AI and someone called me with 7-2o and won. It was breathtaking. LOL!

I’m back :joy: I can’t even begin to tell you all what the last 10 days were like, but for me normalcy is back. I have seen the best of humanity in the last 10 days, people uniting to help each other. Keep Western NC in your prayers, they got it bad, as I am sure you know this already. We are helping them as much as we can, I help load supplies headed there. I will gladly see you all on the tables tonight. - Hapzap

God bless you for pitching in to help out. We were fortunate in Atlanta to not take the full brunt of the rain and flooding (got the full winds though) but there was alot to clean up here too and seeing all our neighbors working together to clear roads and driveways and check in on everyone was very uplifting. But that is nothing compared to what you saw and had to deal with a few hundred miles north. It is hard even to wrap my mind around it.

If some of you are wondering why I havent been playing recently. I have been playing the RPOS 12, and because I was getting unlucky, I decided to focus just on RPOS 12 temporarily, instead of multi tabling both RPOS, Dream Weaver at same time, in order to try to have better RPOS 12 results.

I have won 3 RPOS 12 events, 1 5th, 1 min cash.

Dream Weaver has been represented in the RPOS 12.

Maybe Rain or somebody can post the Dream Weaver’s that have done well in RPOS 12.

Dream Weaver helps its players become even better, because of the discipline it takes to play team play well.

Thanks to Dream Weavers for giving me the opportunity to play, improve, etc.

Congratz to all the other Dream Weaver players that do well in Dream Weaver, and have done well in RPOS 12, who have represented Dream Weaver well.

You are doing excellent @Asuronetorius in the RPOS Xll congratulations on your 4th win!

You are showing an incredible skillset, just like I knew you would here in teams, adapting quickly and fitting into the social environment. Your progress has been fantastic. Keep up the good work

Not a lot of Dream Weaver players in RPOS so I have kept the chatter about it out of here.

There are also past DW players on the LB, many great players play and have played in this league.
