Alright, did you miss me? maybe just a little bit, sometimes life gets in the way of poker and babbling, and you know how much I love to babble, I’m glad in my absence Jake popped in and put very funny 20 lashes meme, that there is funny I don’t care who you are. I would really like to see more participation like that, this is a community forum for everybody in the league.

We were a little low in the numbers tonight only 62 players showed up, 62 if there is 100 players that’s 62% of everybody that signed up for the league showed up, show me another league that has 60 to 75% of all registered players show up, I’m pretty sure correct me if I’m wrong that this is the most popular continuously running team league on Replay.

You all should be proud of the great group of people you are a part of, we draw some of the best players on replay to this league.

Tonight’s final table had some of the best, after kicking off the cobwebs and getting the feel of team play @goatsoup graced the final table, He was sporting a new shirt from the rain collection, I thought it looked pretty good, speaking of shirts @FranklyI was wearing a modified rain Pirate version reversed and in brown tones, nicely done Frank, I am enjoying the corrosion of conformity, art for arts sake I say. And let’s not forget the Outlaws, they are sporting a new beautiful blue moon with five Outlaws on it, very nice!

You will see more of my shirts popping up here and there in different leagues, I am not the best at it, but the endorphins that are released when seeing your art or your version of assembled art is almost as good as winning at poker, I said almost just to be clear.

OK so tonight’s final table had @Magnanimous knocked out as it joined, He was one of two Renegades that made it to the final the other one @Larry_Laffer, Do I do I really have to say it another final table Larry, this guy knows how to play poker! Three hands later Jack @boyd2 wasn’t having it and Larry was out. next Jack struck again @drj123 goes all in, Jack takes him out and the Con Artists stacks begin ascension. Next to go was Franklyl, @Mahvelous took him out and then the Cons started waging war with two power stacks.

We’re down to the final five blinds are huge and the goat picks a hand to go all in on before he gets blinded out @adren-all-in calls him and sends the goat packing. The final four exchange chips for some time before finally Jack takes out Adren, then it was down to two Cons power stacks and @samstarr for the Pirates, Sam fought hard played an excellent game, but the two Cons eventually took him down and split up the booty.

In my opinion because he played such an excellent game boyd2 Was the MVP for tonight’s game well done Sir.

Unfortunately for them all that great playing wasn’t enough to beat the Pirates tonight. Really good competition tonight the numbers show it 62,48,42,23 those are numbers to be proud of.

Congratulations to the Pirates on the win tonight!

If you want to see how many points each team has, and tonight’s final 18 individual points made just look up, Sharon has done a nice job of laying all that out for you.

Below are all 18 players in the points tonight, their teams and the positions they finished in, show your support for the Dream Weaver Team league, say something about your favorite player, coach or just congratulate them, if I can do it, you can.

Team Pirates are the fiercest, most terrifying pirates on the seven seas.

One day, they heard talk of a magnificent poker chip treasure in one of the Replays most powerful leagues. It was a brutal task to take on, and its players were well armed, but no one enjoyed stealing treasure from land lovers then busting them more than the Pirates, even though they were already so rich that they would have needed many lifetimes simply to spend the winnings they had amassed.

So, the pirate carefully prepared an attack at the poker table. The boarding was a success, and they were soon busy taking the fabulous treasure from the land lubbers. Without doubt, this was a formidable haul of treasure, almost as big as what the Pirates already had. The Pirates rubbed their hands, thinking about continuing to multiply their riches.

The pirates prepared a great feast to celebrate the deed. As drunk as they became, they didn’t realize that their own ship was gradually sinking, The Land loving Outlaws came to play, their poker skills were known far and wide, they bought the pirates more rum than they could handle, these were conditioned Outlaws, they’ve been drinking and playing poker for many years, and as the night went on, even though they were outnumbered at the final table they took all the booty from the pirates.

Holding court at the final table were three Outlaws @martinigal3, @drj123 and @JenGen7 the Pirates had six final table players @oOoCLSoOo, @WS66, @Rainman772, @adren-all-in, @samstar and me.

martinigal had an incredible power stack, Sam was the first to try and take her on, that didn’t work, Jen takes out Ryan next, now we’re down to 4 pirates 3 outlaws, and I become the next victim of martinigal, I’m blinded all-in and she flops the nuts out the door I went, next on martinigals hit list his Rainman, the drj steps up to the task and takes out Wayne, now we’re down to one pirate and three outlaws, Clara played like a champ but the cards weren’t with her, the three outlaws remained alone at the table to battle it out with an all-in slugfest.

And even then, they couldn’t take down martinigal, she walked with the most chips and definitely the MVP award for tonight’s game.

All the efforts and great play the Outlaws made tonight just didn’t close the deal, they were unable to beat the Pirates in overall scoring, losing by only two points, the Pirates proved once again a solid team consistently playing well, is a winning combination.

Congratulations to the Pirates on the win tonight!

I’m all about giving credit where credit is due. Say what you want about Sharon, and I have, but there is no question she started one of the most successful leagues in Replay. Her participation rate is off the charts, her notes on players is reaching her 5th notebook and the players here are really second to none. I run a league and it’s not always easy, but Sharon has figured out what works for her and the members. Kudos to you Sharon and I hope Dream Weavers goes another 10 years.

Imho this is prime example of dedicated leadership combined with an understanding of the needs of the members w/o being self serving is a recipe for success. The proof is in the pudding and has these leagues leaving The Donks League in the dust. Congrats on a job well done
