CONTEST - Name our new Astral SnGs!

You asked, and we’re answering:

We’re adding a new Astral tier with a 50k entry … and we need a name!

Like our existing leagues, this upcoming Astral League will have 6 and 9-max games, along with First and Best 20 leaderboards.

Our Poker Operations Manager, @Chasetheriver, will be choosing his favorite suggestion on Friday, April 3rd. The winner will receive 10 buy-ins – 500k chips! We’ll also be awarding five random participants with 100k as a thanks for playing.

We’re keeping to a theme on this one. Here are the rules:

  • Stellar / astronomy theme.
  • Maximum of 10 characters (not counting the “Astral” portion).
  • Limit of three entries per player. Because the theme is restrictive, we’re placing a cap this time. If a player submits more than three suggestions, only the first three will count.
  • The first player to suggest the name Chasetheriver chooses will be the winner. Any duplicate entries will not count.
  • As always, keep it appropriate!

Have fun, everyone! We hope to have this new league running by the end of April.

Cool idea to have a competition!!!

My ideas are as follows :

Cassiopeia , ( a nod to the strong ladies of Replay )

CanisMajor ( because who doesn’t wanna be the big dog )

and last but not least my actual favorite is:

Projection, ( because lets face it the right run of cards can lead to an out of body experience )

Odyssey. a long wandering or voyage usually marked by many changes of fortune. perfect for new SNG. gonna be a long wandering voyage and changes of fortune to win this SnG leader board.

astronomical. buy in is astronomical,but so will reward for placing on leader board
