Why is it that my chips have increased these past few days but my rank is not getting lower…it is HIGHER
The most likely answer is that people are buying chips during the sale. “Chip rank” is determined solely by the total amount of chips a player has and fluctuates because it’s recalculated at regular intervals throughout the day. When those chips are lost and enter general circulation, the ones who lose them will see their rank go down (higher number), the ones who win them will go up (lower number), and the ones who were out sick (or otherwise didn’t play much) will revert to about where they were before the sale. This happens every time RP has a sale, though this time seems a little deeper–perhaps more or larger purchases.
