that definitely counts and congrats on kicking off Q4 right @southwestmba
Congrats @Asuronetorius that is awesome. This thread isn’t completely about streaks, it is the best day’s results. So winning an RPOS event and collecting a difficult to get Replay Achievement certainly meets that criteria. Told you they would eventually have to play a few hands against you and all those early bluffs probably set a few people up to make some lighter calls which you made them pay for.
All the bluffs was in the 2nd RPOS I played in that busted out of late tourney, and the bluffs were throughout the whole tourney, not just early, and they worked, was against very tight passives, but only won the smallest pots, and everybody avoided me like the plague, so I couldnt get anything going, and was shortstacked late tourney, etc.
in RPOS #6, the 3rd RPOS, that played, I rarely bluffed, but bluffed just enough to keep afloat, until I started taking players to value town, on the rare times that I either played hands or had other players not avoid me, also was almost semi card dead at limited times. By the time it was down to the last 2, I had just 40k, and opponent was ranked about 1500, and had about 150k. And then I outplayed him, played a semi masterful, semi epic heads up marathon against him, for the win. Not the best played, dominating tournament win, but I’ll take it. That win tho does prove that can win even by just being patient, bluffing just enough to float, and outlasting competition, completely the opposite of the 2nd RPOS played. Guess that means that I can switch gears, play completely opposite styles, etc, from tournament to tournament, and within same tournament, etc.
Thanks for the compliment, comment, I just didnt want you, others to think that I won the RPOS #6 by bluffing a semi lot, when that didnt happen, as the successful bluffing a lot happened in the 2nd RPOS that played, altho those bluffs only won small to semi mid pots, and everybody avoided me, couldnt get anything going, ended up shortstacked late, etc.
Just being honest.
