Get ready for the second quarter of 2023! Our regular league games for the first quarter of 2023 start on
Sunday, 2 April, at 3PM ET and 7PM ET (New York time).
Experience has shown that those who play often and well tend to finish high on the leaderboards. So don’t miss the chance to have a great start into the new quarter!
This rest of this message contains important information about leaderboard awards, advancement to Gold, the Tournament of Champions, our quarterly All-Donks-In series, and minimum participation requirements. Please take the time to read it.
Awards
Like last quarter, we have five quarterly leaderboards (one for each weekly game and one composite leaderboard) for both the Silver and Golden Donks tiers. At the end of the quarter, each leaderboard winner receives a virtual crown (Silver or Gold depending on the tier) and is inducted into the Hee Hawl of Fame. This quarter’s leaderboards will be hosted on our league website here:

In addition, don’t forget that we have two annual championships, the winners of which will receive a virtual Ring of Flames award at the end of 2023:

The 2023 European Annual Championship is based on all 2023 Wednesday 3PM ET and Sunday 3PM ET league games from both the Silver Donks and the Golden Donks tiers.

The 2023 American Annual Championship is based on all 2023 Wednesday 9PM ET and Sunday 7PM ET league games from both the Silver Donks and the Golden Donks tiers.

Advancement
This quarter we will advance five Silver Donks to the Golden Donks tier:

The crown winners of the four leaderboards that correspond to the four weekly games (Wed 3PM, Wed 9PM, Sun 3PM, Sun 7PM).

The remaining spots are filled up with the highest finishing Silver Donks on the composite leaderboard. There is at least one spot for advancement via the composite leaderboard but note that there could be more if the same player occupies more than one of the other advancement spots.
Invitations to the Tournament of Champions
The Tournament of Champions is hosted weekly on Mondays at 3PM ET.
Members of the Hee Hawl of Fame are eligible to play in the Tournament of Champions. In addition, the chip winners of our regular league games on Wednesdays and Sundays are invited to participate in this prestigious tournament. The winner of the Tournament of Champions leaderboard receives a virtual Tournament of Champions bracelet.

If you win chips in a Wednesday tournament, you will be invited to the Tournament of Champions the following Monday.

If you win chips in a Sunday tournament, you will be invited to the Tournament of Champions one week later (8 days after the Sunday tournament in which you won chips).
If you have won chips and are thus eligible to play, you will receive an invitation message (usually on Thursdays) and be able to register before the start of the tournament in the HHoF lobby: https://www.replaypoker.com/leagues/22
Bye Week and All-Donks-In
The bye week for this quarter is scheduled for Wednesday, 24 May and Sunday, 28 May. On these dates, instead of our regular weekly games, we will host our quarterly All-Donks-In Series (ADI). All Donks (Silver and Gold) will compete together in four tournaments (at our usual times). The winner of the ADI receives a virtual All-Donks-In bracelet.
Minimum participation requirement
I would like to remind all Donks that the league requires its members to commit to playing regularly in at least one of our four regular weekly tournaments. If extraordinary circumstances prohibit you from meeting this requirement, please get in touch.
