My sincere congratulations to all winners this quarter. It takes a good amount of dedication, poker skill and yes some luck to be successful in the Donk’s leagues. Some of the newer members may not be aware that in the beginning there were 3 levels beginning with Bronze, Silver and Gold. Although the Bronze level was discontinued some early members played in and advanced to Silver by winning medallions in the Bronze league. With that in mind, I would like to send a special shout out to John (12beat22) who this past quarter won his first Silver medallion to become as far as I know the only Donk to win medallions in all three leagues. Congratulations my friend.

I would like to recognize and congratulate the following players for their outstanding play during the month of March 2023. @KirbyMuckIt in Gold and @Kondrad in Silver. Each led their respective leagues in best 9 points earned during the month. Honorable mention goes out to @niceriver in Gold and @donkbusta444 in Silver for their 2nd place finishes as well. The April 2023 Donk of the Month
It is time again for our Donk of the Month, an award given to a member that makes contributions of service to the league, demonstrates exceptional skill at the table, or has a strong positive influence on the members.
This Donk first joined the league in April of 2021 in the Silver Donks tier, advancing to the Golden Donks in his first quarter by finishing high on the 2021 Q2 Silver Donks Composite leaderboard. He obtained his first two Golden crowns in 2022 Q4 by winning the Golden Donks Wednesday 9PM and Composite leaderboards. One of our most active members, completing 406 games in just 2 years, he has also reached the final table 87 times and finished first 12 times.
With that, please allow me to announce @snitty as this month’s Donk of the Month.

Thank you for the award and the kind words from all – as well, thx to Mahvelous for putting the time and effort into making them. To get better you have to play better - and thats what part of the the donks are - an assortment of very good players who have earned their way into the league. I firmly believe that you learn more from a loss than from a victory - and i have learned lots in this league - lol

zoethedog joins the 500 club
The 500 club consists of all Donks who have shown outstanding dedication to the league by playing in at least 500 league games.
It is my privilege to present to you @zoethedog as the latest member of the 500 club. zoethedog joined the Donks in January 2021 in the Silver Donks tier. He advanced to the Golden Donks tier in his very first quarter by finishing 3rd on the 2021 Q1 Silver Donks Composite leaderboard. zoethedog is one of our most active and most accomplished members. He played 221 games in 2021, 208 games in 2022, and 73 games to date in 2023. In 2021 Q2, his second quarter with the Golden Donks, he won three Golden crowns in a single quarter. He won another Golden crown in 2021 Q4 and another two Golden crowns in 2022 Q2. With a total of six Golden crowns, zoethedog has won the second most Golden crowns any Donk has ever accumulated. Finally, he also won the 2023 Q1 Tournament of Champions bracelet.
With that, I’d like to congratulate zoethedog and wish him all the best for his next 500 league games. zoethedog is now eligible to wear the classic Donks avatar with the 500 club logo and his six Golden crowns.
